WORI is always looking volunteers from abroad who can work within our existing programs in Uganda together with our local volunteers, interns, and WORI staff. The nature of the work that a WORI volunteer would embark on varies from program to program. Mostly, it involves conducting trainings in communities and schools on sexual reproductive health and rights, empowering women in leadership, policy or human rights education, teaching at our vocational training center, working on the micro credit program, fundraising, or anything that you think you could add to our work.
WORI requires volunteers to contribute a certain amount of money depending on intended period of stay. Volunteers will also be required to meet costs of application, monthly program fees, host-home stay and Airport Pickup. We feel honored when volunteers involve with us in our work and programs, by giving us their valuable time, resources and commitment.
If you are interested in volunteering with WORI, please send a resume/CV, Cover letter and current passport photo to email@example.com, with “Volunteer Enquiry” as the subject.
Once WORI receives these documents, the applicant will be given an appointment for a Skype interview which will determine their admission to volunteer with us.
