Women’s Rights Initiative (WORI) welcomes and encourages highly motivated individuals with an interest in women’s rights, sexual and reproductive health, women’s economic empowerment, and nutrition and sanitation, to support our work through internships. An internship at WORI will expose students to challenging yet rewarding experience of working at a women-led grassroots NGO in Eastern Uganda.

WORI offers internships throughout the year in our Jinja, Uganda office. Interns work full time, 35 hours a week. Regular office hours are 9.30-4.30 but may vary depending on the nature of the work. Interns will have the opportunity to visit the field and see firsthand the impact their work has. All who are interested are encouraged to apply.

Individuals interested in applying are encouraged to look over the Internship website  for information regarding volunteer preparedness, internship testimonies and exploring the area.
